Sponsorship lasts for 1 year with the hope that successful candidates will be released back into the wild during the year. Individuals that do not pass all the health checks will be cared for in captivity.

STUDYING OR VOLUNTEERING IN VIETNAM
A volunteer program has started at the Dao Tien Endangered Primate species Centre in Cat Tien National Park. We welcome both academic researchers and skilled volunteers.
RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES

Animal Care Volunteers
Primate husbandry and enrichment volunteers
As Dao Tien has only limited capacity for volunteers, candidates with primate husbandry experience are prioritised, or experience of working in tropical forests.

Home volunteers
To help EAST grow, support from many areas is vital. If you have a skill you believe will be beneficial please contact us.
EAST is looking for School Teachers for developing a school program involving structured lessons and projects that could be run in Vietnamese Schools and Internationally. If you would like to help please contact education@go-east.org
FUND RAISING volunteers
If you have any ideas for fund raising please contact us. We have many projects for fund raising from radio collars, a microscope for our veterinary centre to equipment for schools. Please contact enquiries@go-east.org
VISITING
Dao Tien Endangered Primate Species Centre
To help increase awareness of the illegal trade fully guided educational tours are available daily on Dao Tien in Cat Tien National Park Vietnam. (Viewing is limited as primate care and successful rehabilitation take priority).
Advanced booking through Cat Tien National Park Tourism Centre is required (+84) 0613669228, or email daotien@go-east.org. All monies generated from tours go back into primate conservation and protection

- Condition of primate (solitary, with food and water or injuries etc).
